about

It's no secret that I count Tangerine Dream among my musical mentors: In 2005, I wrote "Scattered Frequencies" for Edgar Froese, and this year's "A Conspiracy Of Planets" was dedicated to the electronic pioneers.

When it came time for my 2009 release, "Rubaiyat" I envisioned it to be a four-part suite, and yes, the title was a slight riff on TD's 1975 album "Rubycon." The track "Zeitgeist" began as a single recorded synth progression and evolved, much to my surprise, as an "electronic meditation" - hence the subtitle.
