Unquiet Storm

from People, Places, Things by David Gerard

/

about

It began with me manipulating a passage from "Prescience" (see, Moog Opus No.1 album), and converting it to a bass drone. Then, the 'layering' process commenced. In my younger days, I was always fascinated when I listened to music on my transistor radio, and heard the station being 'interrupted' by a shortwave radio transmission, or when a second, 'ghost station' would bleed into the main station. Not necessarily what I attempted to accomplish here, though undoubtedly what inspired this composition.
